Douglas County has had adopted Subdivision Regulations since 1955 and Zoning Codes since 1960. This compilation of materials is the archive of Douglas County historical codes. These laws are authorized and required by State statutes.

Current Ordinance
Douglas County has regularly updated its Land Use Development and Ordinance to be in full compliance with changes in statutes, goals and rules; to have current codes available for use by staff and citizens; and to tailor land use laws to fit local policy and development objectives.
