Salmon Harbor Marina is located on the Central Oregon Coast in the historic community of Winchester Bay. Known for its natural beauty, scenic quality and development potential, the Marina is bordered on the west by the Umpqua River and is one of Oregon’s prime coastal estuaries. Salmon Harbor Marina is one of the largest recreational facilities on the Oregon Coast, featuring:

Coho Point
Coho Point is a two-acre commercial development project in the East moorage basin with direct water access to the Marina’s boat docks. The property is zoned Water Oriented Tourist Commercial and Marine Commercial and affords excellent development opportunities for:

Ork Rock Point
Ork Rock point is a three-acre vacant commercial parcel on the northern most point of the Salmon Harbor Marina and is known for its exceptional view up river. Zoned Water Oriented Commercial Recreation, permitted uses include a motel/convention center, restaurant, and other recreational uses. Conditional uses include gift and specialty shops and condominiums. Level and ready for development, Ork Rock Point has sewer, water and electricity ready for extension.

Land Use & Zoning

Land Use and Zoning is governed by the Winchester Bay Comprehensive Plan. The Salmon Harbor Marina is owned by Douglas County and managed as a joint venture between Douglas County and the Port of Umpqua through the Salmon Harbor Management Committee. The Management Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on all proposals.
